Newly released security footage appears to show "Street Outlaws" star Daddy Dave, whose real name is David Comstock, placing a GPS tracking device under a parked vehicle before his arrest this week.
The video, obtained by TMZ, captures a figure dressed in all black with a hood pulled over his head walking down a street in Bath, New York, on the night of May 12. The suspect then crouches beside a car and reaches underneath, seemingly to attach the device.
Bath Village Police Chief Donald Lewis confirmed that the man in the footage appears to be Comstock. According to a police press release, the tracking device was placed while being recorded on video.
Comstock, however, denied the allegations. "It's not me. You guys are barking up the wrong tree," he told TMZ.
The video also shows the suspect quickly leaving the scene, followed by a police officer arriving later with two other individuals. The arrest itself was captured, with officers taking the suspect away in handcuffs on the street.
Comstock was booked into jail early on May 13 on two misdemeanor charges: stalking and criminal tampering. He has since been released. Authorities have not disclosed a motive or any relationship between Comstock and the alleged victim.
