Sudden Summer Heat Hits Western and Eastern Japan; Thunderstorms Expected in Tohoku and Sea of Japan Coast

Today, sunny spells are returning to the Kanto region and other areas, with many locations from Kanto westward experiencing summer-like temperatures above 25°C. Tokyo is also forecast to reach 25°C, bringing warm and humid conditions. However, residents in Tohoku and along the Sea of Japan coast should be on alert for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
