Google parent company Alphabet reported on Wednesday that its paid subscription services gained 25 million new users in the first quarter of 2026, bringing the total to 350 million. The growth was primarily fueled by YouTube subscriptions and Google One, the company’s cloud storage and added-benefits plan.
The figure, disclosed during Alphabet’s Q1 earnings call, marks an increase from 325 million subscriptions at the end of Q4 2025. While the report did not break out specific numbers for individual services like Gemini, advanced AI features are now bundled into Google One plans. Notably, the company also did not update the monthly active user count for the Gemini chatbot, which previously stood at over 750 million.
