A recent presentation at the RIDE 2026 conference highlighted the success of an online Master of Science program co-delivered by institutions on two continents. The session, led by Kate Reiss and Adanna Nwameme, examined the effectiveness of this collaborative international approach to distance learning.
The program, which brings together universities from different continents, aims to provide students with a global perspective while maintaining academic rigor through digital platforms. Preliminary findings suggest that students in the program achieve learning outcomes comparable to those in traditional on-campus programs, with the added benefit of cross-cultural collaboration.
The presentation was part of RIDE 2026, the 20th annual international conference focused on reflecting, innovating, developing, and envisioning the future of education facilitated through technology. The conference, held March 12-13, 2026, explored themes including inclusive education, learner success through innovation, and the future of online, distance, and blended learning.
