Seren Singleton returns to the starting lineup as the only change for Wales ahead of their Women's Six Nations finale against Italy on Sunday, a match they must win to avoid a third consecutive Wooden Spoon.
Singleton, who started against Scotland, France, and England but was left out of last weekend's defeat to Ireland, replaces Hannah Dallavalle on the wing. Dallavalle drops to the bench, while Freya Bell is out of the matchday 23 entirely.
Head coach Sean Lynn expressed frustration with the performance in Belfast but has kept faith in the same group, stating, "They are the ones that are going to fix it." He added, "One thing I've said to the girls and staff this week, we've got 80 minutes to put that right. We haven't next week... It's about an 80-minute performance, putting everything right."
Wales have lost their last nine Six Nations matches and face a dangerous Italy side that recently put five tries past England. Lynn emphasized the need for defensive solidity: "You don't get a free-flowing attacking team if you make sure you're winning the collisions."
A victory over Italy, combined with a Scotland loss to Ireland, would lift Wales off the bottom of the table.
