Uniqlo's New 'Refined for the Everyday' Collection Blends Comfort with Urban Chic

Global apparel retailer Uniqlo has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 Uniqlo: C collection, designed by British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, now available in select Philippine stores and online.

Dubbed "Refined for the Everyday," the collection emphasizes relaxed tailoring and soft fabrics crafted for daily wear. Waight Keller, who joined Uniqlo as creative director in September 2024, highlighted the focus on both comfort and aesthetics.

"I wanted to focus on how clothes feel as much as how they look. Comfort comes through in the softness of the fabrics and the ease of the cuts, creating an urban wardrobe designed to move naturally through everyday life," she stated.

"There's a strong unisex spirit, with styling built around fluid layering and a palette of colors that naturally complement each other. A subtle sense of play runs through the collection, built around modern essentials designed to mix easily and create an urban chic wardrobe. The introduction of sunglasses adds a final, personal touch — completing the silhouette and allowing each look to be styled in an individual way."

The collection features a seasonal palette including powder lilac and sky blue tones, accented with brighter pieces like a red knit top. Key items include cotton dresses with structured sleeves and clip belt details, satin sets, Milano ribbed knits, and viscose knit T-shirts designed for warm weather.

Women's offerings include 16 pieces, with outerwear priced from ₱1,990 to ₱4,990, dresses from ₱1,990 to ₱2,490, and knitwear ranging from ₱1,490 to ₱2,490. Men's items feature five pieces, with outerwear priced up to ₱6,990.

For the first time, the Uniqlo: C line introduces sunglasses with UV400 lenses that block 99% of ultraviolet rays. The accessory lineup also includes retro-style sneakers, deck shoes, and an ultra-light tote bag. Sunglasses are priced at ₱1,490, shoes range from ₱1,990 to ₱2,990, and bags are priced at ₱1,490.

Waight Keller, previously creative director at luxury fashion houses in London and Paris, was named Womenswear Designer of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2018.
